On the 14th November 2022, the UK goverment announced an extension to the deadline for the mandatory use of the UKCA mark. Up until the announcement the UKCA mark was due to become mandatory from the 1st January 2023. This date has now been pushed back until the 31st December 2024, which is good news for manuacturers and importers, giving them more time to adapt to the new rules and regulations.
